The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, and the breakfast tasted amazing. The bar area felt uncomfortable and uninviting, with a stale frying‑oil smell, and the bar maid seemed untrained and unsure of herself.

The room was huge and comfy, complete with a desk, kettle, cookies, teas… and a view of the main street. Breakfast was fantastic and parking was included, and the staff were very helpful. I can’t think of any downside; everything was perfect.

The location on Main Street is fantastic. The only issue was that it was quite noisy, so we had to keep the window open to stay cool.

The bedding was excellent, the room was well sound‑proofed and the window could be opened. The building’s charm—old structure, lots of wood, fabrics, soft tones, animal sculptures, a beautiful fireplace, comfy dining chairs—was impressive. Breakfast choices were varied and delicious, and dinner was also tasty and generous. The hotel is centrally located, close to the castle, and the main sights are within walking distance. The only drawback was a bit of a wait before ordering, but with many guests the service picked up quickly.
