The breakfast was a lovely Swiss spread with a beautiful valley view, the building is full of antiques, and the room was comfortable and spacious—just missing a balcony. A little renovation in the rooms would help; they’re cozy but not very modern. A sauna with longer opening hours would be nice.

The breakfast hall is extraordinarily beautiful and the breakfast itself is very good; the personal service is pleasant, and the cuisine is excellent. Overall, it’s a very authentic small hotel in a historic house. The Junior Suite we booked is on the 4th floor, and because the building has no elevator, it’s very inconvenient for guests with limited mobility. The fact that the suite is on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator should be noted in the description. Luckily, the hotel offered us an alternative room on the 1st floor from the second night onward.

The staff are attentive, the place is clean and quiet, the breakfast at the restaurant is superb, it’s a high‑class venue, and the indoor parking is convenient.

Charging an electric car was easy and inexpensive, the breakfast buffet was great, and the staff were very attentive. The shower curtain was a problem.
