My bungalow next to the beach was lulled by the sound of waves and the breeze. The bed is large and has a mosquito net. The bathroom is spacious, with a toilet and shower. The staff are friendly and the vibe is informal. I had a lot of fun during the dives, especially with Sri, our favorite divemaster! The volcano trip is really worth it, even just for the motorbike ride, which passes through villages, jungle patches, and beaches (I had a great time, someone else was a bit scared). Electricity is only available during certain hours, and Wi‑Fi is the same, but we were warned about this (and it's not a big issue in a place where you want to disconnect from the rest of the world). The meals are not always plentiful: the service is self‑serve and you risk the food being gone if you arrive last. One of the divemasters (only one of the three I met) seemed uninterested in doing his job and didn't pay much attention to managing the group.
