Simple, clean, quiet, and very close to the train station. The shower head and pipes are too old, causing water flow to fluctuate wildly, and the wardrobe hooks are warped and rusted.
The hotel sits right in the hotel district just outside Chiayi Station, so the location is super convenient. It’s affordable, and there’s a fridge in the room, which made the stay comfortable.
I didn’t give it a 1 because of the staff’s courtesy. Terrible. The rooms were old, the bed was hard as a rock, the pillow felt like stone, the floor was broken, the bathroom was broken, and the sink leaked water. We reported it, but nothing changed. The carpet was shabby, and there were mosquitoes in the rooms. I won’t stay again.
The location was good and the service was fine.
The price was reasonable, transport and food were very convenient, the reception staff were polite, and the room was fairly clean.
