“General upkeep, cleaning, and repairs are need to make me a return guest.”
The spot was spot on and the pool, hot tub, and waffle maker at breakfast were a hit—my kid loved the sprinkles on the waffles. First impressions were fine, but I was told three times “since you booked through a third party,” and it turned out $30 cheaper for the same room, so I’d do that again. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, though the paper cups leaked everywhere; I’m glad I didn’t bring one in my car. Waffles, yogurt, hard‑boiled eggs, and biscuits and gravy were there, and the pool was warm, which we liked, but the hot tub wasn’t warmer than the pool—definitely a let‑down after seeing reviews about a hot tub. Cleanliness and repairs were lacking: our room had someone else’s fries on the floor, holes in the bathroom door and the door itself, torn and stained curtains, and the cabinet drawers under the TV wouldn’t stay closed. We got a good deal, but I’m unsure about returning without improvements. The best person we met was a young girl cleaning lobby windows when we checked out.
