Carlos at reception was helpful, but my $140 safety deposit refund never appeared on my card even though the front desk said it was released and could not provide an official claim; there was no email for correspondence. Also, there was no hot water kettle in the room or in the breakfast area after 11 am.

The staff were very friendly, especially the ladies at the breakfast lounge and at reception, and Carlos was particularly pleasant with us. We received an upgrade to a superior room and spent ten fantastic days there. The beds were comfortable, each single had three pillows, and the large window was great. The area has everything nearby at a very good price—restaurants, a market, docks with terraces for cocktails—so overall it was a hit!

The location is great, the breakfast is good, and check‑in was efficient, but coffee that used to be available at reception all day is no longer offered.

The hotel is excellent, with a great location in a quiet area, nearby shops, restaurants, and the subway just a few blocks away, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel is very pretty, and the room was perfect.
