Staying at Venus for three days and two nights, we chose the ecolodge for its equipment quality and lakeside setting; Gustavo the owner was attentive, offering a fantastic breakfast on the terrace each morning and acting as a guide to all nearby sights; nothing special to note, just that the ecolodge is equipped with heating.

If you enjoy breathtaking scenery, peace and quiet, lovely walks, amazing sunsets and sunrises, cold water dips, and a warm welcome, this is the spot for you. Reaching it requires a bit of effort, and that’s part of the adventure. Don’t look for a fully developed tourist scene—expect serenity and to stay with friendly locals living their everyday lives.

The hospitality of Gustavo and his family is truly top notch! The cottage is in a great location for exploring the northern part of the island, with beautiful views of the lake and sunrise. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the blankets were warm, and there was hot water in the shower. We were very pleased to find stable internet, electric heaters on both floors, a mini-fridge stocked with drinking water and other beverages, and a kettle with a selection of local teas to suit every taste. The breakfast was wonderful, with a choice of options for everyone, and of course the "Aptapi" lunch, featuring unique local products (can be ordered from manager Gustavo). Special thanks for the unique educational tour of the northern part of the island, organized by Gustavo's father, and for assistance in leaving the island in adverse weather conditions! We had a great time staying in this little house! We felt like welcome guests!
