We've been coming for years; the place is older but the views are great, and we liked it.

The spot is good, within walking distance to restaurants and a nice beach down South Beach, but you have to climb a sandy hill to reach the oceanfront, and the restaurant/bar downstairs was noisy on weekend nights.

It was close to the beach and the on‑site restaurant, but first we couldn't find the room and no one was at the front office.

The location was great, but the room didn't match the website—tired, run‑down, and the linens were stained. The manager offered to change the bedding, apologized profusely, and we left without staying; he refunded us in full without a fight, which was great.
