We never got to meet the host—they were on vacation—but they answered our messages fast. The place is about a 15‑minute walk from Interlaken Oost and a 10‑minute walk from Interlaken West. Our small room was clean and tidy. A Coop and several restaurants are just around the corner, so the spot is great. All in all, we enjoyed it.
