I was thrilled by the house’s view and overall setup, especially enjoying the jacuzzi on a rainy day; the hospitality and service were top‑class, and I’ll definitely return soon.

The property’s facilities were comprehensive, yet the owners were a mixed bag: the lady was fine, but the husband was arrogant and rude, privately demanding a R2000 cash deposit and refusing to return it after a single noise complaint, two highball glasses, and an unmapped kitchen floor; he caused a scene, shouted over my phone call about the deposit, claimed the sheet was dirty, and said they don’t replace bedding for new guests, which felt unhygienic. We walked barefoot for 10 minutes upon arrival and found our feet blacked; they complained we didn’t do all the dishes, but the dishwasher lacked tablets, forcing us to clean before 10 am. The husband kept looking for reasons to hold onto the deposit, even checking for loose tiles by the jacuzzi. If the house were run by his wife, it would be much better, but this level of arrogance is unacceptable; I’m extremely disappointed and will never return or recommend it.

The beach is close by with majestic views, making this a perfect getaway with excellent facilities, including indoor and outdoor braai areas and a jacuzzi, plus the bonus of comfortable beds.

I loved the house—it had everything we needed, great Wi‑Fi, and an amazing jacuzzi; Rentia and Hendri were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us, and the sea view was beautiful.
