The stay was good, the elderly lady was very kind, and the room was clean.

The country is beautiful, close to towns, and there are many spots to enjoy the amazing views. The bathroom is downstairs while the bedroom is upstairs, which makes it a bit hard to navigate in the dark, though plenty of light switches illuminate the stairs.

It sits in Pienza’s ancient town in a 16th‑century building, right in the heart of the small town. Rita was an exceptional host, but parking was two blocks away.
