The staff at check‑in were friendly and helpful, ready to give their time; the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large, warm, and homely. I stayed with my 2‑ and 5‑year‑old boys who loved the spa bath and the free breakfast, and the rooms were big enough for them to play. However, the TV instructions claimed I could use my Netflix login, yet the TV was outdated and lacked that option; the staff apologized, saying we must’ve gotten the short straw with the TVs and all other rooms were fully booked. There were no kids’ channels, so we had to find other ways to keep them entertained.

The location was good, the heat pump worked well, and parking was available. The room had an adjoining door, so it felt like sharing a space with the children and parents next door; every sound, song, word, and cry could be heard. There was blood on the duvet cover, and the mattress was extremely soft.

The spa bath was amazing, but the bed was hard as a rock and made a lot of noise when I turned over.

We were delighted by the cleanliness of our room, which was spacious and fully equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, and fridge. A small pot of milk was offered upon arrival. The front‑desk gentleman stayed an extra 30 minutes after the usual closing time to greet me and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. A supermarket and a top‑rated beauty salon with Thai massages are located a 10‑minute walk on Mill Street. I will definitely return if the opportunity arises.
