The room was a decent size, had a comfy bed and a small desk, and the bathroom was clean—having one at their rates feels like a luxury; the communal kitchen was a nice extra, though the location is great for me but a bit remote if you’re just visiting.

The staff and location were great, and the fridge and kitchen were useful, but the bed seemed unsupported and slid around, there was only one towel for two days for two people, no soaps or shower gels, and the kitchen sink had a white residue all the way around.

It was cheap and comfortable, with a fan and a window that opened, but the room smelled like a teenage boy and the mirrors were smeary.

The location was great, close to a stop that goes straight to the centre, and near a grocery store, café and pub, but the room was dirty, hot, the windows couldn’t be opened, the temperature was about 30°, a fan kept running loudly and couldn’t be turned off, making it impossible to sleep.
