“A unique stay on the water”
The view from the dining table was amazing, the houseboat was well equipped and luxurious, and the staff were easy to communicate with. A toaster and darker or opaque curtains in the bedrooms would have been appreciated. The aircraft noise from planes taking off or landing at Schiphol was excessive. A useful tip is to shop at the supermarket before boarding. Paying €35 for easy personal check‑in was a better introduction to the kitchen, which was not user friendly at all (using the dishwasher, a hidden cutlery drawer, and a range hood light).
