The Avon Causeway Hotel sits on the edge of the New Forest National Park, 1 mile from Bournemouth Airport. It features a bar, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. Rooms have a TV, tea and coffee facilities, and en-suite bathrooms. The hotel hosts Murder Mystery events and serves homemade dishes. It's 10 minutes from Christchurch, 10 minutes from Ringwood, and 15 minutes from Bournemouth's seafront.

The hotel’s location, design, and staff were great, but trash was taken out at 4.30 am and the diesel engine outside the window was noisy.

The room was pleasant, though a bit small for a double; breakfast was cooked to order and very enjoyable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of free parking.

The room was comfortable, quiet, and parking was easy; the staff were friendly and they even provided fresh milk for coffee in the room, though a little traffic noise from the nearby main road seeped in when we opened the windows, which was fine.

The breakfast disappointed me because the omelette I had was clearly reheated in a microwave and was tough, so I left most of it; my husband would rate the breakfast 7 since it was supposed to be smashed avocado but his was sliced and dry. The same issue with the cooking of the breakfasts.
