The layout of the room was clever, with the toilet, shower and wash‑area separated for easy use without bothering other family members, and the generous size made it feel luxurious and comfortable. The next morning we asked the front desk about taking the kids to the beach; the staff didn’t tell us that swimming was prohibited at Jin Tan, so we ended up at a sign‑posted no‑swim zone, were quickly approached by a worker who asked us to leave, and then had to catch another taxi to Yintan—wasting time and energy that could have been avoided with better guidance from the hotel.

“All in all it's a very good hotel both for short and longer stays. Value for money is great.”

Location is very central. Rooms are clean and spacious. It's quiet. Beds are very comfortable. Everything works well, including air-conditioning. The hotel is less than 2 years old though. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Coffee (espresso) at breakfast is surprisingly very good. -poor internet speed (will remind you of modem times when a page took several minutes to load). if you are here for business and need to use notebook, it's a serious handicap. - breakfast is very modest Chinese style: you won't see any selection of cheeses or milk products, but noodles, rice, eggs and Chinese-style pork will be abundant. Fruits selection is also very mediocre

“价格划算”

The price was reasonable and both the front desk clerk and the housekeeping lady were very polite. However, the laundry machine was insufficient and another two would be welcome, the air‑conditioning never turned on despite the 25 °C heat in Beihai leaving the room stuffy at night, and the breakfast trays weren’t cleared promptly, with the selection falling short of what’s offered at local competitors like Atour.

This hotel is right in the heart of everything, which is super convenient. The location can't be beat, it's central and easy to get around from here.
