I didn’t get a veggie‑only cooked breakfast, but the regular cooked breakfast without meat was nice; the bar and dining areas were pleasant, the location was great for exploring the southeast lakes, and the adjacent nature reserve was perfect for walking the dogs; the staff were welcoming and the place was very dog‑friendly. The bathroom was clean enough but could use a deeper spring cleaning, the room had only one small wooden chair, and we could see the pub roof from our window.
