The location was great, but the remote service felt impersonal.
The location was great.
“Camere molto ampie, in pieno centro (corso Mazzini).”
The rooms were spacious, but the fridge was small.
“B&b nel centro della città”
I loved it a lot: the building sits right in the center, giving easy access to essential services like the supermarket, many shops, restaurants/bar, and sights such as the castle; the daily room cleaning; a secure, covered parking at a nearby partner facility; and the host’s willingness and courtesy. What I didn’t like, or rather what could be improved, was the apartment’s layout. The description didn’t explain that it was a family unit with three bedrooms, but only the one I stayed in was usable because there were just two of us, so I wondered what would happen if there were more guests, since I chose a private bathroom setup. The kitchen had the basics for cooking and washing, but I’d suggest adding a disposable scotch or similar for better cooking and a multi-surface spray instead of a degreaser to clean without damaging furniture and stoves. The bathroom had a shower box, but the silicone around the edges had peeled off from wear, which I noticed after my second shower; it also had a mirror, toilet, bidet, and a toilet paper holder that displayed the number of rolls left for the days stayed. I’d recommend adding more towel hooks, because there was only one, and a second towel or a small bidet could be hung or placed elsewhere if two people are staying. The neighborhood was a bit noisy; I slept poorly due to nighttime sounds and felt a bit scared when, during check‑in, a man who wasn’t staff followed us to the apartment entrance. Thankfully nothing serious happened because my boyfriend was with me and pushed him away.
