I booked through Booking, but the process was awful; I wouldn't recommend it to family or friends. However, the hotel itself was fine, except for occasional mosquitoes and the smell from eutrophication at Playa El Chaco.

The large windows and clean, inviting outdoor areas were great, but the beach was dirty. Overall, the vibe felt a bit more sober than expected.
