The location, friendly host, rural vibe, and terrace table with benches for evenings were nice, but the room lacked space, was only suitable for a single night, and there was no electric kettle.

The lady was very kind and reachable by phone, we were a few minutes late but it was fine, and the place had everything needed with no issues from that side; the old farmhouse’s cleanliness matched its appearance, and the price‑for‑value was great. The main problem was that I booked a four‑bedroom room because we weren’t a couple, yet we didn’t get the room shown in the photo—though we could choose between two, one had an extra bed, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but it surprised us that we didn’t receive what we paid for. A bigger issue was that one room’s occupants held a party until 3 am in full volume, not just a radio but a full mix, which was terrifying and impossible to sleep without earplugs; I can’t imagine how neighbors tolerate that. The lady told us to keep quiet so as not to wake others who were sleeping, so I can’t give a high score because it was okay but not pleasant. If you’re not a drunk party‑goer, the place looks different; a strict “no house party” rule is needed, or they should remove all rooms. I would normally give it a “Great” rating because it has charm and the lady is genuinely kind, but the music was still audible even with the window closed and earplugs, so we could only sleep that way. If I had an earplug, I would have called the police.

This quiet place is perfect for a restful stay, clean and comfy, and you can learn a lot about winemaking just 15 minutes from the train station in Tarcal; the hosts were very kind too 🙃

I didn't like it at all. First of all, the room and the whole place were covered in constant grime. The property is severely neglected and does not run any winemaking business. It does have a cellar, but it’s locked, unlike the front doors that don’t lock at all. The kitchen is dirty and neglected; we struggled to find anything to cook. Everything is dusty, rusty, dirty, as if no one has cleaned there for years. Spiders are on the walls. In the room, the balcony door to the bathroom doesn’t close. The shower tray is dirty, moldy, and the shower curtain is installed so it doesn’t protect the room. A radiator hangs on the wall, mostly inside the shower cabin, so it’s all rusty—what a “wonder” of plumbing. The bathroom mirror is the size of a dinner plate. We left the place immediately. In short, the host is a big slob.
