“Convivialité, confortable et calme, à proximité du Cirque de Navacelles.”
I had a fantastic encounter with Pascal, a lovely, interesting, and passionate person, and stayed in a spacious, clean room with a very comfortable bed, a spotless bathroom, and a family-style dining table. I enjoyed a wonderful time at “Merlanson,” close to the stunning Cirque de Navacelles site.
“Il y a des endroits que l’on découvre… et d’autres que l’on n’oublie pas.”
There are places you discover… and others you never forget. This country house in the Cévennes clearly belongs to the second category. The setting is superb, the nearby natural sites are incredible, the homemade meals are generous and delicious, made with ultra-local products… but most importantly, the meeting with Pascal. Charming, passionate, engaging, and with rare kindness. Seeing him at 23:00 scrambling to help a Dutch father and son who were stranded far away after a technical issue, despite the language barrier, alone sums up his way of welcoming people. Here you don’t feel just a client. You share, you exchange, you eat (very!) well and time seems to slow down a bit. A beautiful Cévennes interlude and, above all, a wonderful human encounter. Thanks, Pascal! We leave with vivid memories and a desire to return. Nothing to add.
“Familial et accueillant”
The welcome was natural and family‑like, very helpful and very pleasant.
“Séjour agréable dans un village charmant”
The welcome and cleanliness were excellent. Nothing else.
“Très bon souvenir”
The breakfast was very good, and the welcome was excellent with a host who was ready to help his guests. It was a bit noisy because it’s on the edge of the street.
