The hotel sits right on the river with a stunning view over the Elbe and the surrounding hills – a real eye‑opener each morning. Unfortunately the shower in our room was clogged and nobody managed to fix it during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. Overall the location makes up for the minor inconvenience.

We felt right at home – the place was warm, lovingly decorated and a perfect launchpad for all the things we wanted to do. The surroundings are dreamy and really quiet, which made it easy to relax. We’ll definitely be back.

Great spot and the staff were genuinely friendly. Breakfast was tasty and the manager gave us solid tips on what to see. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Arriving felt like an adventure, and the hotel lived up to the pictures – the attic room even had air‑conditioning, which was a pleasant surprise. The hosts were welcoming, let the kids use the pool behind the house, and served a varied, regional breakfast; the communal kitchen downstairs was well stocked with dishes, a microwave and a big fridge for guests’ own food.
