The staff were very friendly and competent. The room was large, the breakfast buffet had a wide selection, and the menu was varied. The terrace offered a wonderful view of Kapelle, Churfirsten, and Säntis. Parking was ample, and the hotel was absolutely quiet. I especially appreciated the Swiss identity of this country inn, which is missing from many Swiss hotels and restaurants. The single‑guest status was difficult, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.
