The spot is ideal if you need the station nearby, and the staff are very kind and helpful. I didn’t like the double bed; it seemed like two separate mattresses and was uncomfortable. I also wished there’d been a bottle of water available.

The room is close to the station, which is great if you’re moving around the city. The building is old, like most in Palermo, and you have to go up one floor to reach the room, but that’s not a big deal. The room is a decent size, the bathroom is fully equipped, has a TV and a small fridge. They let us store our luggage at a nearby place. What bothered me was the lack of communication from the host. I didn’t hear anything from her or how to get in until the night I arrived, when I called the number listed on the booking site via WhatsApp, as I had read in the comments (thankfully I did). She didn’t answer my WhatsApp or the booking message about my arrival time or how to access the place until then. I was already worried about not having accommodation by 11 pm :S

The property is very pleasant and the location is great. However, as I mentioned to the lady at check‑out, the mattress in room Politeama needs to be replaced; you can’t sleep on a broken mattress and the night was terrible (luckily only for one night). We missed the Wi‑Fi and the TV didn’t work! It’s a shame because the stay could have been nice.
