We spent one night on our road trip at the hotel and liked it; the room was new, large, and clean, with everything you need, plus a small gym that we used. Nearby, several local restaurants are worth a visit for dinner, and the breakfast was typical American but entirely sufficient.

Everything was great—except the cockroaches in the room. Thanks to the heads‑up from other reviewers! They don’t seem controllable in this area. We got them out of our room when we arrived (3), and then never saw them again. The room itself was very, very clean and comfortable, and remarkably quiet for a motel. The 24‑hour taquería nearby is a gem. Cockroaches, breakfast was meh, but the price is so low it is fair.

The location on the road between LA and SF is good, breakfast is included and well served. The bathrooms would benefit from a refresh.
