The Palais de la Cathedrale sits right opposite the cathedral, a truly fantastic spot. The staff were extremely helpful, even handing us a fan because it was scorching when we arrived. The room itself was excellent, especially the amazing bathroom.

This place is an absolute gem. I have frequently stopped off in St Omer (only 40 mins from Calais) to catch an early return to the UK. St. Omer is quite a buzzy place, but this hotel is in the quiet cathedral square. It is the old Bishop's palace and is full of history. Very very comfortable and the staff could not be kinder. There is plenty of on‑street parking nearby to the hotel. I am not sure if they have parking at the actual hotel – it's possible. We parked 3 mins walk away very easily.
