The staff were super friendly and the owners seemed genuinely invested in guests’ experience. It’s tucked away in a quiet area, just a short walk from Obertauern’s main village. The dinners were tasty and the service was solid.

The meals were top quality, especially the dinner mains and the Kaiserschmarrn at lunch. The hotel’s location is handy, within walking distance of the main lifts, and you can even ski straight to the base. The ski storage is easy to reach, and you’re only a few minutes from the slopes. The vibe is cozy and family‑run, with many repeat guests. On the flip side, the waitstaff’s German was a bit shaky, leading to a few mix‑ups and slower service.
