Breakfast and lunch were exceptional, making it a great place for a couple to unwind, but the coffee station in the room could use improvement; we only had two coffee capsules during our stay and just enough milk for two cups of coffee in the morning and evening, though coffee was available in the dining room.

The staff were really friendly and the food was great, and the scenery is beautiful with a lovely garden. But this is NOT 5 star accommodation: 1. The website never says you can only get there via 18km of dirt road that’s not suitable for low‑clearance cars; you only receive that info on WhatsApp after paying the non‑cancellable full rate. 2. Inside the room things get worse: the carpets were filthy; the towels were threadbare and frayed; the bed was sagging; the phone didn’t work; the fittings were falling off the walls; the balcony door had a 1 cm gap through which the wind howled all night.
