A beautiful spot and the chalet was super comfy! The coffee was great and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!

The place feels like it’s right in the middle of nature—so quiet you can actually hear the birds. They even served a surprisingly lavish breakfast right in the room, which was a nice surprise. Nothing really stood out as a problem.

My chalet was tucked among trees and had a porch with a hammock where I could watch monkeys, colorful birds, agoutis and butterflies. Both hosts were friendly, and Sandra gave me a bunch of last‑minute tips that helped me make the most of my short stay. The breakfast was adorable and way more than I could finish—definitely would come back.

The eco‑chalets are built so well that sunlight pours in, making it feel like you’re sleeping in a treehouse. The grounds are alive with hummingbirds, little monkeys and other wildlife, everything works, the rooms are spotless and the beds are really comfortable. Being set in the Atlantic forest instead of on the beach is a rare treat, and a ten‑minute drive gets you into Paraty.

Staying in the forest is a great idea, but be ready for cold, damp nights—that’s just how it is out here. Sandra and Marcos were amazing hosts, answering every question we had, and the breakfast was both varied and hearty. The only downside is that you really need a car to reach the town, though on dry days getting in and out of the property isn’t a problem.
