The location was excellent; close to the cabin lift. I left without paying, but that was sorted out.

We were greeted very warmly, enjoyed the spacious room, and loved the garden.

The hotel was really nice and quiet, with tidy, decent rooms that had a few minor cosmetic flaws, and the hearty dinner tasted just like my mother used to make; breakfast was served at a nice table with all the usual items. The building was so quiet we almost thought it was closed, it was a pity the windows wouldn’t open and there was no air‑conditioning, and a couple of bathroom lights were out.

The breakfast was varied and very good. The bathroom and the rooms could do with a refurbishment, and we missed having air‑conditioning when the temperature rose above 30 °C.
