The sheets and bed were very comfortable and the room overall was great. The location, actually in the walled town, was superb. Easy WhatsApp contact. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh croissants and stuffed rolls left outside by the door at 6am. Wonderful! It was a shame the wine shop wasn’t open – wrong time of year!

Everything. The location, the host’s responsiveness and friendliness, the spacious room décor, the bed comfort, the impeccable cleanliness, and the stellar breakfast. Our stay was perfect. Nothing to complain about.

Everything! The location was excellent, the room very comfortable and welcoming, the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The owners were very kind and willing to adjust the breakfast to a vegan request. Breakfast in the room was a nice idea and very abundant, matching our tastes, and what was already present in the room also met our expectations. The only suggestion, more of a tip, is to keep the dirt road to the private parking a bit tidier. All in all it was worth it.

The room and bathroom were great sized and very comfortable. I had booked dinner and wasted 20 minutes wandering around looking for the restaurant only to be told eventually by some locals that the restaurant wasn't open on Wednesdays. It felt poor that this was not communicated at any point.

Wonderful location and comfortable bed and room, except for the reasons listed below. I would have given a 9 or 10 for this room but didn't for the following reasons. There was a low hum, buzzing noise all night long. It seemed strange to me especially when I opened up the window and only heard peaceful silence outside. But apparently there is some type of refrigeration/HVAC, etc unit above my room which was the La Mura room. It was a bit louder in the bathroom and the noise would cycle a bit louder every now and then. Obviously this was annoying especially when this small village was completely silent at night. What made it even worse was the stand-along small refrigerator. The compressor turned on every hour and this was not a quiet compressor. Incredible. Normally, I would just unplug it but it was stocked with a few breakfast items provided by the B&B. (BTW, the night before I stayed in room with a similar stand-alone frig that was not noisy.) So, suffice to say, it was not the most peaceful sleep for my one night before continuing on with my hike on the via Francigena
