We can confirm all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The accommodation is beautiful and quiet, with only friendly staff and no parking problems. The TV offers a large selection of German‑language programs that we have not encountered abroad before. A supermarket is within walking distance, and the bus stop to Budweis is about 300 m away (schedules and tickets—including with the driver—are available in the IDESKA app). One more note for castle visitors in Hlubuka: photography is prohibited indoors.

The rooms were very nice and roomy, everything was exceptionally clean, the staff were friendly, and the value for money was great. The biggest let‑down was the breakfast: the options for vegetarians, vegans, and lactose‑intolerant guests could be better (more non‑dairy alternatives), and the breakfast area felt a bit lackluster compared to the rest of the property, especially with a huge TV blasting loud music right above a dining table.
