“Agréable repas en extérieur, hôte arrangeante, très souriante et accueillante. Nous avons passé une belle soiree.”
A nice place, quiet and warm, with a very friendly welcome; the host is accommodating and adapts willingly.
“Gîte agréable pour randonneurs attention au prix car confort rustique”
The host’s kindness was appreciated, the meals were very good and the breakfast too (the meal was offered for our five‑year‑old daughter); the cottage was pleasant but suited for groups and hikers, similar to a gîte along the St. Jacques path. However, the value for money felt more like a step‑house for hikers; the €125 paid corresponds to a different level of comfort. The bed was a 140 cm that made a dip, there was no soundproofing, the room was small, and the bathroom was cramped.
Discovering the area, the site, and the authenticity of the place was great, and chatting with Magalie was awesome👌. The only downside was that the stay was too short!
From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome; the setting is beautiful, calm, and atmospheric, the dinner was delicious and the breakfast was carefully prepared. What truly made our stay special was Magaly—she is exceptionally warm, friendly, and hospitable, instantly making you feel at home. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, we had whole conversations with the help of ChatGPT, which created many fun and memorable moments. Anyone who books here shouldn’t expect a hotel; that’s the charm of the place. You stay in a real house, with a warm, personal, and family-like atmosphere. Even though we stayed only one night, we left feeling like we had been home for a while. We chose this spot because of the good reviews on Booking, and now we understand why. Everything matched: the surroundings, the quiet, the food, the breakfast, and especially Magaly’s exceptional hospitality. If we ever travel this route again, we will definitely come back. Thank you, Magaly, for your warmth and good care. We take a beautiful memory with us! ❤️
The breakfast was excellent, featuring all those homemade jams made with fruits and vegetables from every season; it was very nice. A charming family, very welcoming, and impressive dogs at first sight but adorable.
