Communication with the host was spot‑on, and the cottage turned out to be huge, comfortable and fully stocked. Everything was spotless and the gear was in good shape. Plenty of parking space and a garden with a barbecue made it ideal for a big group.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms felt roomy, which was a plus for our group. The only hiccup was the kitchen – it felt cramped trying to serve more than thirty people.

Lots of space, the sheets finally showed up, and the welcome staff were friendly; we also liked the big parking lot, pétanque area and fire pit. It would have been nicer to have a small lounge and an extra private bathroom, and a lift between the ground floor and kitchen would have helped, but overall it met our needs.

The location was convenient, the ground‑floor rooms were spacious, and the staff were genuinely helpful; the rooms were well sound‑proofed and the beds comfy. On the downside, the dining hall felt tight for a large party, there weren’t enough showers, and the garden waterfall isn’t safe for little kids.
