The location and facilities were solid, but the 15% surcharge on food and drinks and an extra service fee on drinks were annoying. Getting a coffee at the pool bar was slow.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, paid $500 for a single room, and when we arrived the front desk guy told us parking would cost $85. I said we were staying, he replied that if we didn’t have special parking we’d have to go back down the road and park at the casino. It was raining, I told him that was ridiculous, but he didn’t offer any help. The whole situation ruined our anniversary and we left disappointed. Booking a hotel that doesn’t provide overnight parking is disgusting, and having parking ten minutes away is a joke, especially when it’s raining and you have luggage. The parking attendant was useless and seemed annoyed. We’ll never come back to Busrsword again, Geoff Lock.

The room was good and the food was decent, though not my favorite. The pool and room were nice.

I liked the room, the view, and the comfort. However, my partner was treated disrespectfully and denied access to our room; the staff also ignored my request to allow her to come up. I was shocked by how disrespectful the staff were during checkout, the refund process, and being denied exit from the car park after losing my ticket. I was shaking from the disrespect and felt the place, once my favorite, had become unsafe and unwelcoming.
