“Unusual hosting concept at a beautiful property. I prefer a bit more service for my money.”
The villa is stunning and impeccably kept, with lovely gardens that make for a nice stroll, yet it mainly serves as a venue for weddings, functions, and large private parties; the owners justify the price by having overnight guests. It isn’t perfect, though: there are no guest facilities, the advertised minibar isn’t in the room (our fridge was broken and empty), and there’s no on‑site bar even though we received a complimentary bottle of warm wine. An honesty bar might help. Food isn’t offered in the afternoon or evening unless you dine out or order delivery, but breakfast at the main property was lovely.
