The courtyard, fire‑pit area, and room were all nice, and there was nothing to complain about—everything was great.

The hotel was well‑located for my business (quite close) and a restaurant was within walking distance, but the building felt old, the room smelled of tobacco, the equipment was basic, the bathroom was functional but very plain, and the breakfast was also very basic with few options, all for a price that other hotels at the same level offer much better value.

The staff were very professional and friendly, but the facility looked worn out and the rooms felt dated. The sink in my room cracked and there was a slight odor. Breakfast was sparse—no hot protein, but the waffles, cereal, and oatmeal were fine, and the coffee was mediocre. I was the only one eating at 7 am; an elderly gentleman walked in, saw what was available, and left without buying anything, which was a first for me. The area around the hotel is a bit rough, though the location right off the interstate was convenient. I’m glad I didn’t bring my wife. We’ve stayed at Choice properties in Lafayette, Crawfordsville, Indy, Ohio, West and Virginia, Kentucky, and Pa, and this one is the lowest rated.
