A heartfelt welcome from Marianne, the landlady, together with Stephan, her husband, who gave a clear overview of the house’s operations and excellent tips for outings outside Carcassonne, plus great recommendations for the best restaurants (in all price ranges) in “Neustadt” and Vieille Cité. A dignified old house, stylish, charming and tasteful, decorated in Belle Époque style, much of it authentic, with modern technology such as WiFi. Our room had a freestanding bathtub, new but in the old style. Marianne personally served a charming breakfast. In the garden, a pool including a separate whirl‑pool corner. About 10 minutes on foot to the Vieille Cité. The beds – also in Belle Époque style – were only just enough for us (almost 1.9 m), but still fine. It confirms our extremely good impression!

Very good location. The Cite is easily reachable on foot. Cleanliness of the rooms. We were very warmly received and given lots of information about the sights. Parking available.

I was impressed by how convenient the location was and how attentive and friendly the hosts were. The hotel offered free parking on site, and we were able to leave our car even after we had already checked out of the room.
