“Etalauser, back to nature”
Sukma, her husband and their son run the place. The water view is lovely, and being a bit farther from the touristy part of Bukit Lawang felt just right. The food was delicious, and we found the bat cave tour led by the dad and son truly worthwhile. We were six people and had three houses. One house had a shower, the other two had a bak mandi. We preferred a shower, but a bak mandi is definitely authentically Indonesian.

The staff didn’t appreciate us booking our own tours or dining elsewhere. Some tour details were not clearly explained before we were charged for everything.
