The hotel offers good value for money by Parisian standards, I enjoyed the breakfast and the complimentary champagne, the staff were clean and friendly, and the location makes it easy to get around; it’s super close to all the tourist spots. However, it sits right on the border between the luxurious Opera district and the popular eastern foodie hub with many Korean, sushi, and Japanese shops nearby, so it can get quite noisy at night, though it’s very safe.

We only stayed one night, but everything was clean, neat, and modern. I highly recommend it and the price was reasonable too.

The decor and ambience are charming and beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the location is good. The establishments across the street and to the left of the hotel detract from the attractiveness of the hotel and the areas to the right.

We loved our stay at Hotel Square Louvois. The reception staff spoke English and were very friendly and attentive, and we even received a complimentary bottle of bubbles in our room upon arrival. The room was cosy but not cramped, had everything we needed, and was superbly decorated and appointed. The swimming pool in the basement was a tranquil refuge after spending the day exploring the city (sometimes in sweltering 32‑degree heat). The hotel’s location in Paris’ Japanese Quarter or “Little Tokyo” meant there were plenty of Japanese restaurants within a few minutes’ walk—fantastic when you don’t want to travel far for dinner after a long day. The only downside was the price, which is expensive, but for what we got in return I’m satisfied. The pool jets only seem to come on every so often, so they must be on a timer—I couldn’t find a button to activate them. A hot spa pool would be a nice addition to the pool area.
