Located on Kaikoura's esplanade, it's a 1-minute walk from Kaikoura Dolphin Encounter and 10 minutes from the town centre. Booking and checking into The White Morph motel went smoothly and quickly. The hotel offers a range of rooms, some overlooking the sea and others overlooking the garden. We had booked a garden room and were kindly upgraded to a larger room upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise. The bed felt a bit too soft for my taste, but the room itself was lovely and absolutely spotless!

The room was modern and spotless, with a nice bathroom that felt luxurious, and the kitchen was well-equipped; the view from the window or patio was great. The bed could have been a bit larger, especially for someone taller.
