“Wonderful and expressive. I recommend making the most of your stay, do it all!”
I was greeted warmly and offered a wide range of activities, thanks to the taxi driver and the entertainment team who hosted evenings and daytime events. I truly enjoyed everything from the pillows and covers to the staff and entertainment. However, I wish the rooms had a TV with Netflix or similar apps, because I couldn’t unwind after a long day with a favourite show or movie.
“В целом скорее хорошо - море и солнце на месте, остальное не так важно)”
The sea, the beach, and the good reef were enjoyable, though it’s inconvenient to get to the reef. The beach staff are friendly and try to help, and the reception staff are also welcoming and resolve issues quickly. The room was satisfactory. The food at the main restaurant was not very good; it was noticeably better 5–7 years ago. The waiters at the main restaurant (tables outside) seemed to have forgotten who they were – they were all eyes on the dollar signs.
The beach was lovely, sandy, and great for kids. The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, and there were plenty of food options. However, the change from Labranda to Jaz was definitely a downgrade. While we were there, the policy changed from 2 to 1 à la carte restaurants per week, with an extra charge for the Greek restaurant that hadn’t been the policy at the start of the week. The water‑bottle fridges disappeared from the beach during our stay. Three of our evening meals were moved to the beach restaurant, while the Jaz team refurbished the main restaurant. The beach restaurant was very overcrowded and we struggled to find a seat. Also the English‑speaking movie channel vanished mid‑stay, so there was nothing on TV for us to watch. I really enjoyed my stay at the Labranda Royal Makadi, less so at the rebranded Jaz Royal Palmariva.
“Not long enough”
The hotel is beautiful, the staff are exceptional, and the location is great. The only downside was that we could only stay one night because our flight home was cancelled.
There was too much staff in the dining hall! It felt bad that the staff were pushing through and creating queues.
