The location near Marina Portorosa and the sea is perfect, everything is within walking distance. The area is quiet, so you can sleep well with the window open. The house feels modern and the rooms are attractive. The bathrooms are very chic and functional. Breakfast is good for Italian habits, with a nice café, croissants, toast, eggs and juice. The billing is, as often happens here, pure chaos. It’s unclear when the costs are split, prepaid, tested, total or paid on site. The host was visibly upset, even though the clarification falls under her responsibility. This creates a lot of stress right before departure, so we cannot recommend it. Why not just charge the full amount at check‑out like all hotels in the world? The credit card data already provides security. The “sea view” description for room 4 is heavily idealised unless you have a giraffe’s neck. Several pieces of equipment that should be available are missing in the B&B Torreforte.
