The hotel was conveniently close to the wedding venue, but the room had bugs on the window curtains and in the bathroom. We arrived 5 minutes before the 3 pm check‑in time and the staff didn’t even think the room was ready; they charged us $25 for early check‑in even though by the time we actually entered the room it was 3 pm. The place smelled musty and wasn’t very clean.

There’s a lot to appreciate about this hotel, especially the Assistant Manager who was exceptionally helpful and courteous to me as a wheelchair user; I spoke with her on the phone earlier in the week, and when I arrived she was genuinely concerned for my comfort, which shows great customer service. I couldn’t recall her name, but I wish she received recognition for outstanding service. The walls are a bit thin, so wedding guests everywhere can be heard, and for the price of the room, I expected better soundproofing. The breakfast earned a 3.5 out of 5 stars—there isn’t a huge selection, but everything was fresh and tasty.
