“Magnifique endroit et accueil très sympathique !”

A beautiful spot with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills, quiet and lovely. The house is charmingly decorated with quality fittings. Krisztina & Lucio were very friendly and welcoming, though we didn’t have much time to get to know them better, but we would have stayed longer! The kitchen is pretty but a bit small for cooking “real” meals for four people; the terrace is lovely but a bit far from the kitchen, making it hard to eat there easily.

“Un séjour presque parfait chez des hôtes d’une rare gentillesse.”

Almost everything! The apartment is cozy with a polished décor, comfortable beds, spotless cleanliness, and plenty of equipment. The little garden is well kept, the pool is large and clean, and the owners are attentive, kind, and quick to offer advice and recommendations. The only drawback is that the air‑conditioning in one of the two rooms is a bit loud.

“Beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting, with wonderful hosts!”

We had an amazing time at Fontecristina. I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting—the pool, garden, and view are stunning. The apartment itself is exquisite. Krisztina and Lucio are perfect hosts—they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and gave us really helpful tips for things to do and places to go. The apartment is in a great spot to visit other areas. We took day trips to Rome, Perugia, Assisi, Siena, Florence, and San Morino. It’s also just perfect for lazy days around the private pool, soaking in the beautiful Umbrian countryside!

The place is truly enchanting. Surrounded by nature, the only sounds we heard were birds chirping in the morning. The accommodation is tastefully furnished without altering the character of the locale. The beds are comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare a full meal. What made this short stay so lovely was the extraordinary hospitality of the owners, who made us feel like family. Highly recommended.
