“Segunda vez que me quedo en este riad. Lo mejor: el personal.”
I’ve stayed at this riad twice in the past two years. It’s quiet, simple yet comfortable, spotless and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The décor stays true to reality, avoiding the fake “orientalist”, exotic or Pinterest‑style trappings that other hotels use to cater to tourists who confuse Morocco and the Maghreb with the East and Arab countries. The neighborhood is inside the medina but away from the tourist‑packed central area, so you still feel the local rhythm. The highlight is the staff: Hasna, the manager, is super professional and friendly, and Rachid, who works the afternoons and evenings, is very polite and patient. Value for money is solid. Thanks to the whole team, see you soon! The only gripe is directed at the owners‑managers: serving industrial tetrabrick juice at breakfast is almost blasphemous! Morocco’s oranges are abundant and cheap—around €1/kg—yet they serve bottled juice filled with sugar, preservatives, and additives. It’s a commercial blind spot that ruins the breakfast. I missed that juice every day.
