“Except for the event at the end, it was a wonderful stay.”
The breakfast spread was superb! A staff member whose name started with “P” helped me with directions and my visit to the Cosquer Museum. The only downside was at the end: I asked someone to call a taxi to take me back to Gare St. Charles, but it was 20 minutes late. The driver, T. Soultanian from Les Pennes Mir (phone 3658229, 30003, auto 00399C), ended up taking me to a boat cruise instead of the station, then demanded 30 euros for that original ride. I felt cheated; I was a helpless foreign visitor who needed to catch a train.
“Hôtel très bien situé agréable mais à l’accueil discutable”
The hotel is very well located, allowing easy walking or transport to all Marseille attractions. It’s well insulated from noise, air‑conditioned, and pleasant to sleep in. The bathrooms are well designed and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is served on a nicely furnished mezzanine with a varied, quality selection. You had to be very insistent to change the room initially assigned, as it was the smallest in the building with a 140‑cm bed, which didn’t match the reservation or the price paid. The breakfast staff on the first morning were just barely pleasant.
“Rapport qualité prix parfait.”
The breakfast and the location were perfect, and the staff were pleasant. There was no parking, and I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning.
“We traveled by our rental car and it was difficult for us.”
The place was clean. It sits in a busy area next to the Bazar, so don’t drive there.
“Buenas sensaciones y gente amable”
The breakfast was great with plenty of variety, and the staff were very friendly, calm, and attentive to guests. Valeri, the receptionist, was excellent and his city‑visit suggestions worked well. I didn’t like that the balconies were inaccessible, one elevator was broken all day, and the double Privilege room was smaller than described in the catalogue.
