The hotel sits close to the city centre and I was able to park in the small lot at the back.

We stayed two nights in York and the room was fantastic; we could have stayed longer. The location and parking were convenient, the room and facilities were comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to help us recover a lost item, which we really appreciated. I would definitely book here again and highly recommend it.

Firstly there was a stain on the bed sheets. Single glazed window didn't fit frame properly so was very loud all night and the curtains do not go far enough to the ceiling, resulting in constant light bleed into the room from the headlights of cars as the room faced a very busy main road. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the floors are so uneven the furniture is all sagging, including the bed that is slightly tilted which you can feel laying down. The toilet not properly fastened to the floor so it moves. Lastly, they were unable to provide a tax receipt so useless for business travel

Everything nearby is close and the room is quiet, clean, and spacious, with a tidy bathroom.
