Nothing special or bad; the staff seemed very busy, the hotel felt like any other, and it’s a typical business hotel. The business crowd is obvious, it looks very hectic, so casual tour groups might want to avoid it – that’s the essence of a business hotel.

I could fill up on ice whenever I wanted thanks to the ice‑making machine, and I unexpectedly caught the fireworks show in Fukui‑shi, which was a nice surprise. The hotel was easy to locate, and despite the modest price the breakfast was surprisingly hearty.
