The hotel staff were friendly and handled everything for the administration, but the furniture was very old, which was the smallest issue. The bathroom was awful: black mold, the shower drain barely worked, water just pooled instead of draining, the shower door didn’t close, the soap was the cheapest and stinky, and the hot water took about 10 minutes to start flowing. They didn’t give me a cup, water, or tea – nothing at all. I had to go out to request a hair dryer because none was in the room. The price of 1500 was unreasonable for such conditions. The location was inconvenient; you could only get to the center by taxi. I never saw the hotel administrator on site; everything was handled by one person. Breakfast, of course, was not included.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It’s located in a village, not a city, so public transport was inconvenient. The place was relatively quiet, but the windows of our room faced the opposite side of the hotel, and because it’s in a village, dogs kept us awake at night. The room clearly needed better cleaning and updating: walls and mattress protector had stains, the mattress was terrible with visible springs, making it almost impossible to rest. Mold in the bathroom was especially unpleasant given the sanitary conditions. Towels looked far from fresh, and there were no glasses in the room, which is odd for a hotel. Overall, the room felt neglected and poorly maintained. The photos on the booking site didn’t match reality. For the price, you’d expect much better cleanliness and comfort, but this hotel failed to meet those expectations and left a negative impression.

The rent was fine, but the bed was bad – the springs were clearly felt. Basic necessities were missing. The room had no way to boil water for tea, and there were no drinking glasses.

The towels were clean, and there was bedding, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. The slippers were also provided, but only after we asked them at the reception. First, the booking said there was a balcony, but the room had none – that was the smallest annoyance. Out of four sockets, only two worked, the ones by the bed; the ones near the desk, where it’s more comfortable to use a laptop, didn’t work. The TV remote batteries were probably replaced a year ago – they didn’t work and were already gnawed, as if someone had chewed them. That could have been ignored. In the shower, the water drained so slowly that when you turned it on to wash, water started to fill the basin. You had to wash very slowly and carefully to avoid water spilling over the top. The shower itself leaked at the hose and spray head joint. The floor in the bathroom stayed wet after the shower because water leaked from under the shower curtain, possibly at more than one spot, which was visible. The sink had no drain guard or strainer, just a round hole deep like a well. The soap was small and round, and it fell out of my hand once and landed in that hole, from which I couldn’t retrieve it. Things like toothpaste caps could also fall there. Why can’t they check to make everything comfortable and functional? Why pay 1300 UAH?
